The Marvin Vivid Collection is Marvin’s line for modern and transitional homes that want big glass and very little frame. Both the inside and the outside are built from fiberglass materials, so there is no wood to paint, seal, or protect from the sun. The exterior is Marvin’s Ultrex fiberglass. The interior is a fiberglass reinforced composite with a factory acrylic finish, used only on Vivid windows.

Vivid is a good fit for Los Angeles homes with clean, contemporary lines: hillside homes with views, new builds, ADUs, and fire rebuilds in the Palisades and Altadena where owners want large glass without heavy upkeep. What Makes the Marvin Vivid Collection Different

Larger sizes: Fixed windows go up to 10 feet wide or tall. Casement windows go up to 8 feet tall. Bi-fold doors reach 22 feet wide.

Slim, consistent profiles: The frames look the same across windows and doors, so a wall of mixed units reads as one design.

Clean joints: Marvin engineers the corners so there are no overlapping pieces or visible weld lines.

Vivid stands out for its size limits and its all-fiberglass build. Three things set it apart from other Marvin lines:

Colors and Finishes

Vivid comes in a short, modern color list. Inside and outside colors are chosen separately.

Exterior (Ultrex fiberglass): Stone White, Ebony, Pebble Gray, and Bronze.
Interior (fiberglass reinforced composite): Stone White or Ebony.

The exterior finish is an acrylic coating that Marvin says is 3 times thicker than typical painted finishes. It resists chipping, chalking, and fading, which matters on south and west facing walls in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita.

Hardware

Vivid hardware is low profile and simple, to match the frames.

Window hardware: A folding handle or a lock handle on casement and awning windows. Finishes are Stone White, Satin Nickel, Matte Bronze, and Matte Black.
Door hardware: Cambridge or Northfield handle styles. Finishes are White, Satin Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and Matte Black.

Satin Nickel and Oil Rubbed Bronze door hardware come in a PVD finish. PVD (physical vapor deposition) is a hard coating that resists fading and corrosion. It is the right pick for homes in Malibu, Pacific Palisades, and other coastal areas where salt air wears down standard finishes.

Energy Efficiency and Title 24

Vivid windows and doors help keep LA homes cooler in summer and cut cooling costs. Two parts do the work:

Ultrex fiberglass frames: Fiberglass has low thermal conductivity, so the frame does not pass much outdoor heat inside.
Low-E glass: A thin coating on the glass reflects heat from the sun, blocks most UV rays, and helps protect floors and furniture from fading.

Fiberglass also expands and contracts at nearly the same rate as glass. That means less stress on the seals over years of hot days and cool nights, and a lower chance of leaks or foggy glass.
